Medication Technician Responsibilities
- Administering or assisting residents to self-administer medications and treatments
- Remain observant of any problems or changes and report such problems to the appropriate parties
- Responsible for communicating with physicians, implementing physicians' orders, reports, and documenting pertinent information
- Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services
- Measures vital signs and weight, and performs other health services tasks
- Other caregiving duties as assigned
- Friday, Saturday Part Time Swing Shift
- Prior experience in Senior Care as a Med Tech, Caregiver, or similar
- Must have prior professional experience administering medications to multiple clients at once
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug test
