The position and responsibilities you are assuming is Transportation for our community. Transportation provides for the safe transportation of our residents in community vehicles for the purposes of recreation, appointments, and various needs. Transportation also represents our community and business while providing transportation for our residents.

Schedule: Sunday and Monday 9am-5pm, On Call Availability

Job Description
The position and responsibilities you are assuming is Transportation for our community. Transportation provides for the safe transportation of our residents in community vehicles for the purposes of recreation, appointments, and various needs. Transportation also represents our community and business while providing transportation for our residents.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Assist in planning and implementing the transportation schedule
- Drives community vehicles to and from required destinations, safely and according to schedule
- Assists residents in and out of vehicles safely, as well as escort in and out of buildings
- Promptly reports any concerns regarding safe and proper functioning of bus to supervisor
- Performs routine maintenance tasks between scheduled transportation as directed
- Performs routine safety checks on bus per The Springs Living policy
- Maintains bus in clean appearance
- Hold current and appropriate driver’s license and safe driving record
- Excellent driving record required
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Experience working with older adults preferred
- CPR and First Aid qualified
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form
- Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
