Medication Technicians provide a variety of services to our residents, including but not limited to:
- Administers or assists residents to self-administer medications and treatments;
- Measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks.
- Communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, and reports/documents pertinent information.
- Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services
- Additionally, Medication Technicians work as the on-floor supervisor
- We are looking for people who have the following traits: organized, able to prioritize, patient, empathetic, positive and professional attitude, compassionate, creative and proactive thinking, teamwork-oriented, and have a passion to serve others.
- Caregiving or Med Tech Experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening.
- Genuine appreciation for seniors and willingness to learn.
