What You’ll Do
As the front desk Receptionist, you will help create a welcoming and organized environment for residents, families, and team members.
Responsibilities Include
- Greet residents, families, vendors, and guests warmly—often by name
- Answer incoming calls and provide helpful information or route calls appropriately
- Respond to questions in person, by phone, and via email
- Assist the Business Office Manager and other departments with administrative tasks and special projects
- Maintain front desk organization and communication logs
- Support building safety by monitoring visitors and following security procedures
- Help ensure a positive, professional first impression for everyone entering the community
You enjoy working with people, stay calm during busy moments, and take pride in keeping things organized.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience required
- 1 year of receptionist, concierge, or front desk experience preferred
- Administrative experience is helpful but not required
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple calendars
- A genuine appreciation for working with seniors
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
