The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all Club facilities, including dining rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, common areas, and event spaces. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive member and guest experience through consistent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and changing areas
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain common areas, hallways, offices, and dining spaces
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility
- Wash, fold, and organize towels, linens, and other laundry items as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including preparing spaces and moving furniture
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and supply areas
- Follow established cleaning schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hospitality or club environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with members, guests, and staff
- Willingness to learn; training will be provided
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours as needed
