Beverage Supervisor – Seasonal / Full-Time

The Shore and Country Club is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Beverage Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage team for the upcoming season. This is a hands-on leadership position best suited for an experienced bartender with a strong background in wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails, and the ability to maintain the high standards of service expected in a private club environment.

This is a working supervisory role. The Beverage Supervisor will be expected to actively bartend during scheduled shifts while assisting in the oversight of daily bar operations, staff performance, and overall beverage service.

Responsibilities Include

• Supervising bar operations while working scheduled bartending shifts.
• Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages to club standards.
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and classic and specialty cocktails.
• Assisting with development of cocktail features, wine selections, and beverage menus.
• Training, mentoring, and supporting bartenders and service staff.
• Maintaining proper bar setup, cleanliness, organization, and closing procedures.
• Monitoring service quality to ensure a consistent, high-level member experience.
• Assisting with inventory control, ordering, and storage of all beverage products.
• Ensuring compliance with club policies, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service.
• Supporting club events, banquets, and high-volume service periods as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience required
• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and specialty cocktails required
• Experience in a private club, restaurant, hotel, or upscale hospitality environment preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Must be at least 21 years old
