Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering components.
- Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Service GM vehicles and diesel engines with attention to detail while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and estimates while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
- Strong customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience for accurate job assessments.
Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour
