Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Fridays reserved as flex/mental health day
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
Job Summary
TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services is seeking a Clinical Program Supervisor – Outpatient Therapy (OPT) to serve as the primary in-office leader for our Outpatient Therapy program in Charlotte.
This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day program operations, therapist accountability, client coordination, treatment planning support, service linkage, and overall program quality under the direction of the Clinical Director. We are looking for a professional who brings leadership, initiative, strong follow-through, and a clear sense of ownership to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary in-office lead for the Outpatient Therapy program during assigned hours
- Oversee day-to-day program flow, therapist follow-through, and operational coordination
- Monitor therapist responsiveness, attendance, caseload activity, professionalism, and documentation compliance
- Conduct regular therapist check-ins and reinforce expectations related to communication, scheduling, documentation, and client care
- Review progress notes, treatment plans, discharge documentation, and related records for timeliness, completeness, and quality
- Follow up on missing, late, incomplete, or deficient documentation and escalate ongoing concerns when needed
- Address client concerns and conduct client check-ins, as appropriate, to support program quality, continuity of care, and client satisfaction
- Support treatment planning with clients at the start of services and as needed to help coordinate care and identify service needs
- Link clients to appropriate internal and external services and resources based on identified needs
- Monitor client engagement, missed sessions, scheduling gaps, and continuity of care concerns
- Assist with therapist-client assignments, transitions, reassignment needs, and overall service coordination
- Help lead monthly therapist check-ins and support team meetings focused on accountability, compliance, and program expectations
- Support onboarding of new therapists by reviewing workflow, standards, and program expectations
- Contribute ideas and practical solutions that strengthen program performance, service delivery, and overall quality
Qualifications
- Applicants must meet North Carolina Qualified Professional (QP) requirements.
- a qualifying human service professional license, provisional license, certificate, registration, or permit;
- a master’s degree in a human services field plus 1 year of full-time post-graduate MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served;
- a bachelor’s degree in a human services field plus 2 years of full-time post-bachelor’s MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served; or
- a bachelor’s degree in a non-human-services field plus 4 years of full-time post-bachelor’s MH/DD/SAS experience with the population served.
- Experience in behavioral health, outpatient therapy, or community mental health required.
- Leadership, supervisory, service coordination, case management, or program oversight experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of documentation standards, Medicaid requirements, treatment planning, and service coordination preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills required.
- Must be able to work in person in Charlotte, NC.
Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced behavioral health professional who is comfortable taking ownership of program operations, reinforcing staff accountability, supporting clients, coordinating services, and helping maintain a high-quality outpatient therapy program.

- No therapy sessions
