Role: Hybrid Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Illinois
Work Status: W2 or 1099
Rate: $55-$75p/h dependent upon relevant experience and 1099/W2
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you'll work to provide crucial assessments and treatment for speech and language disorders in a school setting. Your role will include:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Customized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
- Onsite Therapy Sessions: Conduct engaging therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of student progress. In this role, you will also collaborate with a team of general and special education teachers, school administrators, counselors, teaching assistants, and other specialists to support your students' development. Dependent upon the role, this may include case management.
Requirements
- Active license as an SLP
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Proficient with technology & modern tools.
