Schedule: PT; Weekends and some nights
Salary/Grade: $15.00 per hour; 73; Non-Exempt

Responsibilities
Position Overview: The function of the Kitchen Worker (KW) is to support the operations of the Ladore catering program, including preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to food standards.
Description of Position:
- Assist with food prep/serving/and dining room care
- Wash dishes/pans from meals as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen/dining room areas
- Observe all sanitation rules for food services
- Observe material handling guidelines for all chemicals
- Maintain neat and uniform appearance during work hours
- Perform related duties, as assigned

Qualifications
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma/GED required.
- Must pass Servsafe class offered by the Salvation Army.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to handle a high paced and often intense work environment.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environment.
- Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.
