SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Plan, direct, and coordinate operations of all Salvation Army facilities in Lockport, NY. This includes both inside the building and the grounds year-round ensuring the safety of guests while onsite.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with and keep Office Manager informed of activities, needs and problems with the Salvation Army properties in Lockport, NY.- Maintain the facilities to ensure its cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Perform grounds maintenance as needed including mowing, trimming in summer and snow removal at sidewalk entrances where the contractor cannot plow in winter.
- Maintain Monthly statistical reports for soup kitchen and mobile pantry.
- Be available during soup kitchen hours to keep eyes on the area.
- Coordinate the pickup of donations from local grocery stores.
- General duties such as setting up special events, ordering supplies, taking down, resetting rooms for programs.
- Seasonal activities such as fundraising as directed by the supervisor.
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver’s license required- Knowledge of food safety is a plus; ServSafe training can be provided by the employer
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to hitch a trailer and drive a 12-passenger van with a trailer
- Ability to operate equipment such as a snow blower, lawn mower, and trimmer
