Events Manager

We are seeking a talented and driven Events Manager to lead and elevate our events program. The Events Manager will be responsible for all aspects of planning, selling, coordinating, and executing events at The Russian Tea Room. This role requires a polished hospitality professional with excellent communication, organizational, and client-relations skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a luxury environment, manages multiple projects with ease, and ensures every event reflects the legendary standards of our brand.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for all private event inquiries.Conduct site visits, tours, client consultations, and tastings.Create event proposals, contracts, and detailed banquet event orders (BEOs).Oversee all planning elements, including menus, timelines, floor plans, AV needs, and décor coordination.Work closely with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.Manage event budgets, invoicing, deposits, and final payments.Maintain and grow relationships with clients, corporate partners, and vendors.Prospect and secure new business to increase event revenue.Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements.Uphold brand standards and ensure the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.Qualifications3 years of experience in event management, preferably in upscale or luxury hospitality.Strong knowledge of event planning processes, catering operations, and banquet service.Exceptional communication, presentation, and customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign and Microsoft Office.Flexible schedule: availability on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.A passion for hospitality and creating extraordinary guest experiences.
