We’re excited to share an opportunity to join our IT team as an IT Field Support Specialist, supporting our corporate office and store locations across the Russ Darrow Group.
This role an entry level role ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technology, problem-solving, and supporting others through reliable and secure systems. You’ll work closely with the Director of IT and play a key role in keeping our technology running smoothly across the organization.
🔧 About the Role
The IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our technology infrastructure at both the corporate and store levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the Director of IT to assess system needs
- Designing and installing hardware, software, and networking systems
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Responding to general IT support requests
- Installing and maintaining security software
- Training team members on new hardware and software
- Providing on-site technical support across all locations
This position reports directly to the Director of IT.
📍 Work Location & Travel
- In-person (non-remote) role
- Based at Corporate Headquarters in Menomonee Falls
- Travel required to all 15 locations (Metro Milwaukee, West Bend, Madison, and Neenah)
- Mileage reimbursement available
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to all locations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to train and support users on new systems
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team
- Formal IT training preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow
