Summary
The IT Systems Support Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure at our corporate office and the store levels. This role is entry-level and works closely with the Director of IT to assess system needs, design and install hardware and software solutions, and ensure secure, reliable network operations. The position provides hands-on technical support, troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues, responds to general IT requests, and trains staff on new systems. A key focus of the role is maintaining up-to-date security measures to protect organizational data and systems while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities

Meeting with the Director of IT to discuss system needs.

Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.

Installing software and networking systems.

Troubleshooting network and software issues.

Installing high-level software security systems.

Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.

Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.

Responding to general IT requests.

Ensuring security software is kept up to date.
This position answers directly to the Director of IT of the Russ Darrow Group.
Must be able to travel to our corporate headquarters in Menomonee Falls and all 15 of our locations in the Metro Milwaukee area, West Bend, Madison, and Neenah. Mileage reimbursement is available.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to all company locations as needed

Strong attention to detail with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and support users on new systems and software

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively in a team environment

Formal IT training or education preferred, but not required

Demonstrated strong work ethic and a desire to learn, grow, and excel in the role

Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
