We are looking for a full time mid level Maintenace Tech at our Laconia, NH plant.
Position Summary:
The Mid-level industrial maintenance technician is responsible for assisting and/or machinery upkeep. This is a mid level position where our candidate will be expected to work alongside experienced techs to develop and grow in multiple work disciplines. This position will encompass many fields to include welding, metal fabrication, machining, work with high and low voltage control circuits, plumbing, carpentry, heavy hydraulic repairs, mechanical repairs, machine trouble shooting and intensive problem solving. This role report to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential/Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following all health and safety requirements, safety policy and company policy. Report any observed violation to the superior or hazardous situation to the Safety Committee
- Perform assigned duties with a high degree of proficiency and mindfulness of personal safety and those around you.
- Conduct scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks on machinery
- Assist other technicians with machinery repairs
- Assist machine operators to ensure they have what they need to succeed
- Report any issues to the superior on duty or team lead in charge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thoughtful, fair, and even-handed temperament
- Team oriented
- Must possess solid organizational skills
- Electrical or mechanical background is strongly encouraged
- Strong work ethic is a must
- Strong mechanical ability and aptitude area must
- Requires ability to lift/pull/push 50 lbs frequently, climb ladders, work on lifts
- Ability to take directions is a must
- Desire to learn and grow in anew and ever-changing career field
- Prior schooling in mechanical or electrical trades is preferred
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Working knowledge of welding and metal fabrication and machining is a plus
- Ability to read, understand and follow written work instruction and safety guidance and policy
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to communicate issues clearly
- Physical fit to fulfill all physical demand requirements
- Available for shift work on opposite shift for training purpose

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School or equivalent
- 4 years of operating, setup or maintenance experience with Manufacturing Machinery
- Schooling in mechanical or electrical trades is preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
