What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at The River House at Odette's?
The Night Auditor at the River House at Odette’s is responsible for checking in and out all late-night guests and discussing all amenities. They are to address all late-night guest requests, questions, comments, concerns, and complaints as they arise. The Night Auditor works overnight to reconcile all financial transactions for the previous day while flagging all irregularities. The Night Auditor resets the property management system for the next day’s financial transactions. They are expected to possess a working knowledge of all hotel details such as room type, restaurants and bars information, and history.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Reconcile, organize, and properly secure all financial transactions and records from the previous day.
· Reset the property management system to ready it for the next day’s transactions.
· Greet, check-in, and check-out late-night hotel guests in a timely and professional manner.
· Assist guests with all requests, questions, comments, concerns, and complaints.
· Address guest issues when able and appropriate; refer to Rooms Division Manager when needed.
· Answer and field phone calls.
· Other duties as assigned.
