Hotel Night Auditor

Job Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves performing front desk duties, managing guest services, and conducting nightly audits of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while providing exceptional service to guests. The hours we are looking for are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11pm to 7am.

Duties

• Perform front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for guests during the night shift.
• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
• Operate phone systems and manage incoming calls with proper phone etiquette.
• Ensure the security of the hotel by responding to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide assistance in managing reservations and updating guest information in the system.
• Maintaining a customer service presence at the front desk during overnight hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette skills to manage calls professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

This position is essential for maintaining high standards of service during nighttime hours, ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience at our hotel.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
