Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Experience preparing and cooking pizza
- Maintain strict food safety and handling procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Use knife skills and slicing techniques effectively to prepare meats, vegetables, and other ingredients
- Support food preparation activities for catering events or special functions as needed
- Ensure all food production meets safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling practices
- Skilled in culinary techniques including slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients accurately
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality food presentation
- Excellent knife skills and slicing techniques for various ingredients
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and food industry best practices
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
