The Role
In this high-impact position, you will serve as a trusted access expert across multiple clinical settings, supporting patient intake, registration, scheduling, and financial clearance functions. Your ability to adapt quickly,maintainaccuracy, and provide outstanding service will directly influence both patient experience and operational efficiency.
On any given day, you may:
- Performpatient registration, insurance verification, and demographic updateswitha high levelof accuracy
- Coordinate and manageappointment schedulingacross a variety of specialty and primary care services
- Communicate directly with patients and families,providingclear guidance on processes, expectations, and next steps
- Collaborate with clinical teams, providers, and fellow access staff toresolve complex scheduling or registration challenges
- Maintain composure in afast-paced, high-volume environmentwhile prioritizing both patient care and compliance standards
- Supports provider capacity management activities for the Oncology Service Line, including maintenance and coordination of provider scheduling templates, appointment availability, and related Epic scheduling configurations.
- Reviews and processes requests for new templates, template modifications, and schedule changes in accordance with established standards, operational guidelines, and clinical service needs.
- Partners with clinical and operational teams to identify scheduling and capacity needs, troubleshoot template-related issues, and support efficient use of provider resources and patient access

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
- Experience: 2 years of directly relevant experience required.
- Licensure: None.

- Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: (computer and mouse use). Proficient communicative skill across spoken, writing domains, adequate auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly and compose messages clearly and concisely.
