- Operate a variety of machinery including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other power tools to fabricate metal components.
- Perform welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques to assemble metal structures.
- Execute pipe threading operations as needed for specific projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards during all fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong skills in welding, particularly FCAW, along with knowledge of pipe threading techniques.
- Experience using press brake machines and plasma cutting tools is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills are necessary for measuring materials accurately and calculating dimensions.
