Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines to produce parts as per engineering specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, milling machines, electrical discharge machining, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC machinery, lathes, and welding equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Experience
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including CNC operation, milling, stamping, and welding is advantageous.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
- Experience with hand tools and machinery such as forklifts, press brake machines, and lathes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
