Job Summary:
CID Attachments is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading materials from the laser cutting machine, cleaning parts, and operating a forklift to transport materials efficiently. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth production processes and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from laser cutting tables.
- Inspect and clean finished parts to meet quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy in cut parts.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines and workstations.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking materials and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience operating a laser cutting machine preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
