Reports to: DC General Manager
Job Summary: The Distribution Center Manager (DC) is responsible for overseeing all operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and timely delivery. This role includes leading a team, optimizing processes, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring operational excellence.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the distribution center, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving.
- Maintain accurate inventory with physical inventory audits.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Support Sales department with warehouse organization, order processing, personnel and warehouse sales operations
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and other operational software.
- Resolve operational issues and provide timely solutions to prevent disruptions,
Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in warehouse or distribution center management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management systems.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
