The Role
As Host, you are the first and last impression of our dining experience. You’ll welcome guests with warmth and confidence, manage reservations and seating flow across our three concepts, and help create a seamless, elevated experience from arrival to departure. - Greet and welcome guests with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating across Golden Hour, Afterglow, and The Roof
- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain an accurate understanding of table status and pacing
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and walk-ins with confidence and care
- Communicate clearly with team members to enhance overall guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing host stand and entrance area
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

- Experienced: Previous host or guest-facing hospitality experience preferred
- Personable and confident with strong communication skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Guest-focused with a natural ability to read the room and anticipate needs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Calm under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Bonus Points:
- Experience with reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, etc.)
- Familiarity with high-volume or boutique restaurant environments
- Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality culture

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
- Lifting thirty (30) pounds.
- Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 100 lbs.
- Constant standing & walking required.
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
