The QTI Group is excited to partner with a top-ranked Credit Union to hire their next Mortgage Loan Officer. This role will be responsible for marketing and originating loans that meet regulatory and investor guidelines. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer and have strong communication skills to generate business and build a strong network.
Responsibilities:
- Develop lending relationships to generate referrals and build a strong network
- Educate prospective and existing partners of mortgage programs, requirements and benefits
- Gather all necessary information related to loan analysis, disclosure, and underwriting loan process
- Educate customers on financing options, rates and offerings and assist with loan application process
- Communicate with members, realtors, underwrites and processors on loan status, approvals and updates as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in business or related field strongly preferred
- 3 years of experience in a Mortgage Loan Officer role
- Proven experience building and developing a professional network and providing strong client service
- Required to obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan originator (MLO) and NMLS registration number, including completing all MLO Registry requirements, adhering to the S.A.F.E Act
