Maintenance Manager

The QTI Group has partnered with a client in the greater Milwaukee area to hire its next Maintenance Manager. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience overseeing facility and equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and continuous improvement skills to drive equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, including scheduling, assigning work, and ensuring quality and efficiency of completed tasks
• Manage equipment installation, repairs, and preventative/predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime and performance
• Inspect and maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe and compliant operations
• Coordinate contractor activities for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects
• Develop and manage budgets, capital projects, and facility improvements including layouts and equipment planning
• Partner with leadership to communicate operational needs, prioritize work, and support production goals
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards while promoting a strong safety culture
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff, including performance evaluations and ongoing skill development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment required
• Previous ERP (SAP) and CMMS experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and facility improvements
• Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance standards (OSHA, EPA)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
