The QTI Group is partnering with a fast-growing manufacturer in the Chippewa Valley to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives. Supporting around 300 employees, you will serve as a hands-on HR leader to shape employee experience while managing day-to-day HR operations. You will play a critical part in leading cultural transformation, supporting rapid growth, and fostering employee development.
Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 bonus, plus comprehensive benefits package.
Location: Fully on-site in the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of three HR professionals.
- Drive cultural initiatives by serving as a champion for programs that strengthen engagement and integrate a bilingual workforce.
- Implement strategies for leadership development and internal talent growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving issues and promoting a positive work environment.
- Oversee full cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Lead compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies (EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, WC, etc.)
- Serve as an advisor and resource for biweekly payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Lead benefits strategy and manage relationships with benefit brokers and partners.
- Partner with the Safety Manager to support site safety initiatives, workers’ compensation and and return-to-work programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.
- 5 years of progressively more responsible HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead HR teams and drive cultural and employee development initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, payroll, and benefits.
- Familiarity with self-insured benefits plans is a plus!
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
