The Primary Care of Wesley Chapel is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our growing primary care team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming patient experience while supporting daily front office operations in a fast-paced medical office environment.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, customer-service driven, and able to multitask efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality and office workflow.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
- Verify insurance information and update patient demographics
- Collect copays and process patient paperwork
- Manage incoming faxes, emails, and office messages
- Maintain organized patient records and documentation
- Assist providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Qualifications
- Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and typing skills required
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Professional attitude and dependable attendance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7:30AM-4-:30PM or 8AM-5PM
