Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving record, excellent knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our residents to designated locations.
Duties
The member transportation staff member maintains professionalism while assisting in the care and transportation of The Pride Group members outside of their living facilities.
Essential Functions
1. Greets members with friendly and caring attitude.
2. Treats members with dignity and respect at all times.
3. Knows members names and abilities while traveling in community.
4. Assists members with problems, special requests and carrying of personal items / groceries.
5. Evaluates and coordinates daily route schedules to ensure members appointments and needs are handled timely.
6. Ensures the van is maintained in a safe, neat and clean manner.
7. Assists in the arrangement of van maintenance and services, including but not limited to vehicle licensing, gas levels, oil change notices, etc.
8. Assists members with specialized needs while completing activities, including HAB classes, and / or attending appointments.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver License
Clean driving Record
Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
**Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
