Sycamore Medical Management is seeking an Patient Financial Advocate

Responsibilities:

  • Must have knowledge with insurance and claims processing.
  • Must have experience in properly reading insurance explanation of benefits.
  • Monitoring and reviewing aged receivables of patient balances
  • Taking payments over the phone and setting up payment plans
  • Assisting in pre-payment good faith estimates
  • Maintain clear and cohesive notes/documentations/forms related to all open patient balances
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and billing a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and business office skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians and other medical staff.
  • Maintain patient and company confidentiality.
  • Assists patients in understanding their insurance benefits, cost share, payment plans and any aspects of the patient financial accounts

Compensation & Benefits:

· Pay Range: $23-$25 an hour

the starting rate within this range for this role varies depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
