Sycamore Medical Management is seeking a Customer Care Agent for our administrative office in Red Bank, NJ.
Responsibilities Include:
- Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls.
- Route calls appropriately, offering voicemail, paging, or redirection of calls as needed.
- Schedule all new patients
- Schedule any appointment requests via phone or email
- Perform registration functions for new and existing patients
- Answer any non-clinical questions patients may have
- Attend all regular staff meetings
- Communicate thoroughly with all practice departments
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Bilingual is a plus
Qualifications:
- Up to 2 years of experience in a medical office preferred
- Knowledge of practice management software
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
- Experience dealing with difficult calls/patients
- Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments
- Insurance knowledge
- Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
- Neat, professional appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Accurate and fast data entry skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
- Investigate and follow up on questions/issues to resolve concerns in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide solutions, recommendations and product information with a sense of urgency, positivity and empathy
- Adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Be flexible and not easily flustered
- Give great customer service
- Work in a fast paced innovative environment
Compensation & Benefits:
· Pay Range: $20-$23 an hour
the starting rate within this range for this role varies depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
