Senior Pipeline Engineer – Transmission & Distribution

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead the design and execution of complex Transmission & Distribution pipeline projects. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive projects from concept through completion, mentor engineering teams, and play a key role in client engagement and business development.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead pipeline design efforts from conceptual phase through final design
- Develop specifications, RFQs, bid evaluations, and technical recommendations
- Review vendor drawings and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support project planning including scope, schedule, staffing, and budgeting
- Manage change orders and ensure project alignment with goals
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with client and industry standards
- Oversee construction support, field inspections, and issue resolution
- Prepare and present technical reports and studies
- Build and maintain client relationships and support business development efforts
- Lead cost proposals, budgets, and financial performance tracking
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and safety policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- 6–7 years of pipeline engineering experience
- Experience working on EPC projects (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pipeline engineering practices, codes, and standards
- Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar
- Demonstrated experience leading design efforts on large-scale projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to contribute to business development and client growth
