The Planet Group has partnered with a Boston area company to find a HR Systems Business Intelligence analyst with experience working with HR systems such as Workday and Greenhouse to lead the advancement of HR reporting and analytics capabilities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical acumen, strong collaboration skills, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset. This is an on-site role and candidates must already be local to the Boston area.

Responsibilities:
- Reporting Strategy & Development: Design, implement, and optimize scalable reporting frameworks that meet evolving business needs across multiple HR platforms.
- Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Champion data governance best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting outputs.
- Advanced Analytics & Visualization: Partner with Technology to conceptualize, test, and deploy advanced, AI-enabled data visualization tools that enhance analytical capabilities.
- Post-Merger Integration & Change Management: Navigate and support reporting transformation initiatives within a dynamic, post-merger environment.
- System Configuration & Custom Reporting: Configure custom data fields and develop tailored reports within HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, and ADP.
- ETL & Data Integration: Apply working knowledge of ETL processes and data structures to support efficient and reliable data integration across platforms.
- Insight Generation & Strategic Support: Translate complex data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Analytics Framework & Documentation: Contribute to the development of a robust analytics roadmap, including the standardization of metrics, documentation of processes, and continuous refinement of reporting practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technical domains, solicit feedback, and tailor solutions to meet diverse needs.
- Professional Conduct & Compliance: Uphold the organization’s code of conduct, confidentiality obligations, and technical standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in analytics and reporting, ideally within People Analytics or a financial services context
- Proficiency in SQL with demonstrated experience querying and manipulating complex datasets and working with Snowflake Schema.
- Advanced academic credentials in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Functional knowledge of HRIS platforms, with hands-on experience in reporting and configuration, particularly within Workday and/or Greenhouse
- Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent technologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and produce high-quality, detail-oriented work

Salary : $50 - $55
