Accounting Manager
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location: Marietta, GA – Onsite
Must Haves:
- CPA or prior public accounting experience
- 7 years of accounting experience, including team management
- Deep expertise in general ledger and account reconciliations
- Proven experience shortening close cycles and improving reporting
- Ability to mentor and guide junior staff
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a private equity-backed company
Job Description:
- Lead and mentor GL team (4 staff accountants) in daily operations
- Partner with Assistant Controller on month-end and year-end close
- Establish account reconciliation standards and best practices
- Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline the close process
- Support internal reporting to segment leadership and FP&A
- Serve as a go-to leader for the accounting function during transition
Salary : $60 - $70
