About the Role
We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and knows how to drive projects from the owner’s perspective. This role sits within a Project/Portfolio Management Organization (PMO) and requires someone who can seamlessly integrate into a client’s team while managing multiple stakeholders, priorities, and project phases.
You’ll act as a key bridge between the client, engineering teams, and construction partners—owning project performance across schedule, cost, and execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead projects end-to-end from an owner’s representative perspective
- Manage project financials, schedules, and overall performance
- Develop project charters, execution plans, and detailed schedules
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide clear project updates
- Oversee permitting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and third-party vendors
- Manage RFP processes, contract development, and vendor selection
- Handle contract execution including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and claims
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, forecasting, and variance reporting
- Drive risk management across the full project lifecycle
- Support field construction activities and ensure alignment with timelines
- Mentor junior PMs and coordinators within the PMO
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and client processes
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in project/program management or construction
- Experience in power utilities (Transmission & Distribution preferred)
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience with Primavera P6 and project management tools
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and project accounting basics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and high-volume workloads
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have:
- PMP Certification
- PE/PEng License
- Experience in Renewables or Power Generation
