Rymarc Construction, Inc is an established General Contractor that performs work for several different agencies, Federal Government, Local Government, State Agencies along with several private and commercial entities. This is a perfect opportunity for the right candidate to grow. We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager/Estimator to estimate and coordinate a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. We prefer the candidate to have experience in both Vertical/Horizontal Construction Projects. You will estimate projects and manage projects from start to finish and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Estimator/ Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and shall be able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on-time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the requirements and specifications of the project.
- Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
- Develop bid/estimate breakdowns and submit bid documents
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Prepare Submittals and Submit Submittals for approval
- Prepare and Maintain Construction Schedules
- Review all plans and project specifications
- Plan and coordinate with the construction team on all construction operations and schedule, to ensure deadlines will be met
- Hire sub-contractors and coordinate sub-contractors
- Schedule site visits and meetings with customers, building managers, etc.
- Evaluate construction progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
Work Hours/Benefits:
This is a full time position, but can be a part time position for the right candidate.

Skills
- Proven experience as Construction Estimator/ Project Manager
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Familiarity with Quality and Health and Safety Standards, OSHA 10,30, First aid, CPR
- Experience with USACE EM385-1
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Associates or bachelors degree in Construction science, Project Management or non degree showing a proven record of Experience
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
- Experience working with the Federal Government
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans
- Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
- Close attention to detail
