Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures in the welding area.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components as required.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Demonstrated understanding and application of safety protocols and quality control standards
- Relevant AWS certification (e.g., D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel) or equivalent
- Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to work in various positions and environments
- TIG welding experience
- Fabrication experience (cutting, fitting, grinding)
- Forklift certification
- Experience with quality control procedures or basic NDT methods
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints or engineering schematics
