Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for manufactured products.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to understand product specifications and identify critical test parameters.
- Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working with engineering to find root causes.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
- Develop and implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools relevant to manufacturing (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python with pytest).
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of test results to identify trends and root causes.
- Understanding of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with scripting languages for test automation and data manipulation.
