Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure manufacturing machinery and equipment for production runs.
- Install, align, and adjust tooling, dies, fixtures, and other components according to specifications.
- Perform test runs and make fine-tuning adjustments to optimize machine performance and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or programming issues during setup and changeover.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment during setup procedures.
- Document setup parameters, process adjustments, and equipment performance.
- 2 years of experience in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools for adjustments and minor repairs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety protocols (e.g., LOTO).
- Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for tooling or fixture design.
- Experience with industrial robotics (programming or maintenance).
