Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production.
- Install, align, and adjust tooling, molds, or fixtures.
- Perform test runs and fine-tune machine parameters to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment setup and operational issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
- Document setup procedures, parameters, and changeover logs.
- Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proven experience in setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting manufacturing machinery.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Knowledge of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience with PLC programming or advanced troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for interpreting designs or basic programming.
- Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
