Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial robotic systems and associated automation equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Install, calibrate, and program new robotic cells and peripheral devices for manufacturing processes.
- Modify and optimize robot programs using teach pendants and integrated software to enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and program revisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards during all robotic operations and maintenance.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, motor controls, sensors, and HMI interfaces.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and robot programming logic.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in a CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for layout and tooling.
- Familiarity with robotic simulation software (e.g., RobotStudio, Process Simulate).
- Basic networking skills for industrial protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
