Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit skilled trades, production, technical, and engineering talent within manufacturing.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition intake to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
- Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, vocational schools, and industry networks.
- Conduct thorough interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws.
- Participate in local career fairs, community outreach, and employer branding initiatives to build talent pipelines.
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, and engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and industry-specific job requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to source and attract skilled trades, technical, and professional talent.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades (e.g., machinists, welders, electricians).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) within a production environment.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant setting (non-recruiting role).
