Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product compliance.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records and logs.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating containment actions.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
- Conduct routine calibration checks on inspection and test equipment.
- Support the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Understanding of quality control principles (e.g., SPC, Lean, Six Sigma basics).
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS)
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQI)
