Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and inspection procedures.
- Utilize statistical methods (e.g., SPC, Gage R&R) to monitor process performance and drive improvements.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and propose process improvements to reduce defects and waste.
- Manage non-conforming materials and drive disposition processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in core quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated ability to lead problem-solving initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB).
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485).
