Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Analyze production data, using statistical methods to monitor and improve product quality and process capability.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into new products and processes.
- Manage non-conforming materials and coordinate disposition and rework activities.
- Support supplier quality management by performing audits and monitoring performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing principles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
- Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
