Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex automation system failures, including PLC hardware and software.
- Design and configure Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Integrate PLC programs with robotic systems, vision systems, and other factory automation devices.
- Provide technical support and perform commissioning for new machinery and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all PLC programs, configurations, and system modifications.
- Ensure all programming adheres to safety standards, industry regulations, and company best practices.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, including commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and motor control systems (VFDs, servos).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma/experience.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex control system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system development (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Ignition).
- Proficiency in industrial communication protocols and network design (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA).
- Prior experience integrating and programming industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots).
- Familiarity with vision systems programming and integration (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
