Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex PLC code and industrial control systems.
- Integrate and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define control system specifications and requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to existing PLC programs and hardware.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for control systems and programming logic.
- Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance personnel on control systems.
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, including commissioning and support in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for complex control system issues.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices.
- Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Familiarity with database integration for data logging or recipe management.
- Exposure to industrial robotics or vision systems programming.
