Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
- Oversee all procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management.
- Direct inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and material handling operations.
- Develop and implement robust demand forecasting and material planning strategies.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and materials function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the materials planning and logistics team.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and production planning.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain analytics.
- Experience managing global supply chains and international logistics.
- Demonstrated experience leading supply chain optimization projects or ERP system upgrades.
