Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive material planning and inventory control strategies.
- Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely material availability.
- Utilize and optimize ERP/MRP systems for accurate material forecasting and planning.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure material quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow and reduce waste.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, forecasting, and production planning
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with international sourcing and global logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in a major ERP system (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle).
