Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials and components.
- Collaborate with production planning and scheduling to align material flow with manufacturing requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, delivery, and competitive pricing.
- Direct warehouse operations and logistics activities for efficient material storage, handling, and distribution.
- Implement and monitor material cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery.
- Utilize demand forecasting data to anticipate material needs and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- 5 years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for inventory control, planning, and procurement.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles, demand planning, forecasting, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
- Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with global sourcing and international logistics.
